Lookin' Back

Feeling like a fatso on the beach.
Not a fun feeling.

it's odd
because I felt so skinny
on the beach that day,
but looking back at that picture
I don't look so thin.
I guess that just means
I have more work to do.
No matter how confident I feel
I can always better myself.

Fruit Freak

When I'm craving Cake&Cookies
I try to munch on sweet fruits instead.
It's not the same
- obviously -
but it's a pretty good substitute
to feed my sweet tooth.
My favorites are Apples&Pineapple
and
- though I don't know why avocado is on the list -
that's a major treat I love to enjoy.

LawrenceThin

I'll admit, when Hunger Games came out
I was annoyed with Jennifer Lawrence.
I tend to dislike celebrities
that everyone obsesses over.
But, after Silver Linings Playbook, I loved her.
She's beautiful and a great actress.
I feel she's one of those people
who shifts in weight very easily, too.
(like me)
Sometimes she looks so bloated
then sometimes she looks so thin.
Either way, I think she's a stunning inspiration.

Vacation Motivation (again)

I have NOT been a good girl lately.
I haven't been awful
but I've definitely been naughty.
I went on a camping trip
with some girlfriends last weekend
and brought some MaryJane with me.
I wanted to enjoy a tent on the beach
with a little mindlessness.
Unfortunately my girlfriends are munchers,
so I smoked&binged.
Irritating that I can't behave.
I have to start, though...
...and I can't just keep telling myself that.
I need to actually do it.
In exactly one month I'll be headed to LA
(for a week-long work conference)
and I want to look amazing.
This is real.
Under 120lbs by June 24th.
...I was gunna make eggless cookie dough
to snack on tonight
But I didn't have brown sugar,
so I'll take it as a sign to STOP.

Thin Goals

I thought I was a MunchMonster last week
but this weekend was even worse.
The boyfriend had a bunch of buddies in town
and we ate&played&drank all weekend.
 I really really really need to get back on track.
I feel like without the motivation of vacation
(the thought of my body in a bikini)
can't convince myself to behave
and before I know it
I'll have packed on 10lbs
and hate myself.
It's sad that I need a constant goal
to keep thin-thoughts in my mind.
I used to be so dedicated.
Ugh.
So frustrated.
Look at these fat thighs...
these disgusting&gigantic legs.
I have so much work to do.

Lard Cobbler

We all know I live the Big Bang Theory
- especially watching Penny yo-yo her weight -
and the other night's re-run cracked me up.
Sheldon lost his job
and went into a melt-down
so his mom came to town
to get him back together.
While she was there,
she baked all his favorite meals
- one of which was peach cobbler -
to coax him out of his room.
She's from Texas
and apparently cooks with lots
of unhealthy ingredients,
so the cobber was
"baked with lard."
Penny(andherfatarms) didn't like that.


Most "treats" really aren't worth it.

Damn, though...
when Penny looks good
she looks good.
